There is no problem. If you understood anything about faith you would know this.

If you don't believe evolution happened then they do have a lot to do with each other.

I'd tend to agree. I wish it was a choice. Unfortunately I can't trick myself into believing something I don't.
you're absolutely right, you can't. You're going to need God's help. It will be next to impossible to all of the sudden become a believer while leading the same life you would as an atheist.

Why would anyone want it to be true? What a monster God of the bible was/is.

Believers are teaching children about hell. Child abuse.

He's just being vague to sound enlightened. He's talking about "faith" as simply believing in a higher power of sorts. Deist style almost.

The least ironic and most predictable thing about this thread is the defensive, stressed responses of the atheists trying to convince everyone that the burden of enlightenment is the cause of their short, sad lives.

Anyone that thinks that science precludes faith is just as foolish as someone who thinks that faith precludes science.

Those are pretty telling statistics in the video. That was interesting.

I know what faith is, evidently he doesn't. Faith is not a good trait. In any endeavor.

24,000 kids under 5 with die tonight, tomorrow, and the day after that...where's jesus?

Not me. The average religious person is happier, healthier and wealthier than the average atheist. I don't think that is a secret to anyone and common sense will tell you that would result in a longer life. I am agnostic so basically the same thing but I am not poor or miserable like most atheists I know, I am unhealthier than most religious people I know though since I like my partying. Oh well.....

Pray harder. It's a test. They're blessed to be able to join him in heaven.

If you take genesis literally it is.
