AT&T sucks

They keep a monopoly on internet service in the south and with no competition, they have no incentive to provide a quality service.

I had at@t, switched to the only other provider in my hood, Time Warner and they suck worse. The speed gets noticeably slower when people in the hood get home in the evening.
As we speak At@T is tearing up my yard and pulling fiber into the hood. Once they are done I'm probably going back to AT@T and the gigapower they are installing.
Whats the deal with Europe's internet being faster and cheaper. Deregulation I think is the reason. We need to deregulate here so we consumers can get better service.
My electricity in my area is deregulated and as soon as my rate goes up, I can choose from about 100 providers that compete for my business.

Disagree. Whenever I had issues with the dinosaur internet speed I'd call in and they'd give me 3 free months to shut me up. It worked until I had enough after about 9 months and switched to cox

I have AT&T Uverse internet and tv in California and I love it. At my house in SE Oklahoma that is in the country the only thing I can get is Dish Network. The tv service is ok but the internet sucks bad. Capped at 10 gb which is a joke.

We just switched from Cox to U-Verse. We use the internet for basic surfing and streaming, so the slower internet that U-Verse provides is hardly noticeable.
We have our cell phone service through AT&T too. My cell, TV, Internet AT&T bill is cheaper than what my TV and Internet Cox bill was.
Cox was last in my wife's name and so is AT&T, so if AT&T jacks up the prices after a year, we will switch back to Cox in my name. We'll get the new customer discount for a year or two and then be ready to switch again.
It's a fricking game and we will win.

Their wireless sucks. Never used them as an isp.

Fiber or not they'll put some ridiculous restriction after 4gb.
