At what age should you stop buying boxed furniture?

Just bought a cabinet that came in a box to assemble. As much as it makes me feel manly making this, kinda tired of it

Whenever you move out of your parents basement.

Building your own from raw wood is an incredibly satisfying feeling

So is rubbing your raw wood

Whenever you buy your own stretch of timber, assemble a logging mill, mill your supply, and then handcraft your own furniture.
Then and only then.
Then and only then.

Never. Boxed furniture is cheaper so that's what my son gets for his room. When he moves out and has kids of his own, I'll buy that same stuff for my grandkids so he knows the arse pain of putting it together
