Psychology has thrown out the uncomfortable realities of Freud too quickly, I think. This guy would probably not be too difficult to analyze from a Freudian perspective. Maybe his dad used to take dumps with the door open when he was a young child. It was a husky, visceral, intimate experience with a man he loved deeply. Then, when daddy went away, Chambers McReststop here felt a powerful urge to rediscover his lost father and his lost innocence.
