I voted for Cliht too and thought he would win. I've only lived in Ascension since Katrina, so I didn't realize how prevalent the good ole boy network was here. I hope Clint runs again too

frick Matassa and his good ol boy bullshite. Because of him, we are stuck with no responsible infrastructure planning with roads, real estate and commercial developers are running buck wild, subdivisions are just being thrown up left and right without a moments thought and the sewage and drainage are becoming bigger problems.

It's going to be hard to do but I think the future is going to lie with Prairieville as it's the most monied area of the parish and eventually we'll get a challenger out of here with pockets deep enough fight D-ville and set a narrative to how this Matassa type is not conservative and not a real republican.

When a parish has a huge influx of population, but there still is no money to build a mere shoulder on a single road, you know something is crooked. A parisg of this size should be getting major retailers and even more small businesses and yet virtually nothing- that suggests somethong is awry. I didn't vote for this guy and I didn't vote for Cointment either because he seem like a good old boy too.

I disagree with that. Loar was an outsider and didn't stand a chance and it will happen again. If Clint runs again he will win especially now after everyone is seeing the real Matassa

Things would be the same with Cointment. His dad is the epitome of a Gonzales/Ascension good ole boy. Cointment was just a puppet for that good ole boy network.
