Ascension home values post flood

Will homes that didn't flood, but were completely surrounded by those that did, increase in value now?

It may be a good selling point in the short term but long term things will settle back down.
Also as things change, new construction, schools, and neighborhoods that will change how water flows. Place that did not flood this time may flood next time.

There will always be demand and value living in a top school district. Also, the major economic drivers in the area hasn't changed so people still have a source of income
