It isn't just the visual appeal of La Nuit, it is the character itself.

It is a depiction of the Greek goddess, Nyx.

Born of chaos at the beginning of creation, she is the goddess of the night, feared by Zeus, mother to light and day, destiny, fate, destruction, death, sleep, dream, and other entities.

Always loved mythology.

My first wife put one of those abominations on our wall. I ripped it down. I guess it's a small part of the reason we're divorced.
