Am I wrong for sharing it then?
I gave the source of the information for that exact reason... so each reader can interpret it as they will. Yet I’m getting crucified for it.

Ya think?
You might want to remember to emphasize that before you go telling the world she was on Xanax and definitely gave the dude who nearly died Xanax.
And even if she did give him Xanax, pretty comical that they would give her shite when the root cause of the problem was the immense amount of alcohol his frat bros goaded him into consuming.

I don't know what happened. I wasn't there. But I do know that frat bros in that situation have a shitton of reasons to lie or at best spin away from their own fault and pin in on someone else. And in this case, that someone else is no longer around to give their side of the story.

Not in your initial post in this thread. You made it sound like you knew it to be the Gospel truth.

Drama queen. One person nearly died and another one is actually dead and you're all concerned because your feels got hurt on the Interwebz.

You're getting crucified because you posted information as fact without disclosing your proximity to potentially involved parties. Given that this girl reportedly took her life over the accusations made against her, it's rather disgusting to come on here dragging her more through the mud without disclosing your proximity to potentially involved parties.

What is wrong with these frat boys? Are they incapable of learning anything from the Max Gruver incident?
Posted on 11/2/20 at 3:39 pm to chryso
Or you could just sell the fratsters weed like I did.

My quick research on the topic found that Xanax and alcohol are a very bad combo, because the liver has to break them both down.
I would think that if you already had a BAC of .451, Xanax would probably kill you.

Are kids that stupid these days?
With all the headlines and arrests generated from the last death you would think some common sense would kick in
If I was sent texts of that nature I would quit that frat
There is no one that would ever talk to me like that or make me do something like that for friendship

Xanax & alcohol is a huge no. Xanax by itself in higher doses makes you go to sleep. I’ve never heard of someone on a high dose of Xanax doing anything harmful to themselves. I’d be shocked if they could stay awake long enough to think of it.

In my case, it made me follow some skank named Trisha around, and buy her expensive drinks I'd finally pay for 8 years later.
Xanax (plus all the other -zams and -pams) is defective crap in my opinion.

Exactly.

Someone with that BAC is already in dire circumstances. Xanax likely doesn't help, but the liver is already working overtime to process the alcohol in the system.
I don't let internet posts upset me much, but that a girl killed herself over being accused of nearly killing this guy, and to have someone jump on here and spread that unsubstantiated rumor, has me pretty worked up.

A teacher friend saw this coming a few years ago and told me about it. The fragile snowflakes get all the publicity but there are some absolutely amoral sociopaths out there.
