Not sure what you’re laughing at. Feds have a 98% conviction rate, and if the 5th Circuit overturns Feldman’s idiotic rulings, Africk is a horrible draw for him at trial.

This is a case where I actually wouldn't mind a plea bargain, as long as it's conditional on him never holding public office or working for govt again.

Not that I wouldn't also like to see him guilty of a felony at trial.

I don't think he will resign and no way a recall can be organized enough to actually work.

It’s on Nola.com which you have to pay for (unless you do the Reader view trick).

He admitted to the murder of a 12 year old, numerous shootings, and the Costco incident today.

So, all this talk about "gun control" has nothing to do with actual gun crime then, right?

They are worried about law-abiding citizens owning guns, not criminals committing violent acts with guns.

Makes sense.

Apparently the right course of action is to be armed in NOLA then dump the body in the river rather than reporting the justifiable homicide.

assuming this is the 12 year old

quote:

No arrests have been made in the case. Derrick was found near a black Jeep Cherokee that had been reported stolen from a valet at the Pontchartrain Hotel on St. Charles Avenue in New Orleans. There is no indication Derrick was involved in stealing the car or was aware it was stolen at this point, a senior law enforcement source said.

Was it the 12 year old found by the stolen vehicle in the east?
