Any significant differences other than jogging? I guess I could pull up the story and read it. But from my memory two guys stopped another guy because they thought he was looking into some cars. The guy said he was only jogging through the neighborhood. One of the two guys brandished a weapon, there was an altercation, and the jogger was killed.
My guess is that the weapon should never have been brandished and there was probably a very different way to handle that situation.
