Truth be told I needed the extra pushups. I was 6' tall 145 lbs when I went to basic. Pure string bean. I was 6' tall 180 lbs when I graduated. Pure muscle. They weren't lying when they said they would get you in the best shape of your life.

Made quite the difference in my social life, I'll tell you that.

Sure. And he was exhausted. This was at dawn and we'd been rucking since the night before. Mind is pretty much turned off at that point.
