Armed Robbery Suspect Currently Barricaded Inside Hotel Room at Belle of Baton Rouge

According to authorities, the suspect barricaded themselves inside a room at the Belle of Baton Rouge Hotel and Casino sometime Saturday morning.
Baton Rouge Police say the suspect was involved in an attempted armed robbery of an individual and police were following up on the investigation.
A BRPD SWAT team is on scene monitoring the situation.

You have one of the biggest and newest casinos in south LA and people still go to the Belle. Just imagine the riff raff that frequents that place.

As a patron of L'Auberge, I am glad the Belle still exists. It serves the purpose of keeping a lot of the riff raff away.

I figured one night, while a bit intoxicated, “frick, the Belle can’t be that bad, it is a casino with security at a minimum, after all.”
Well, let me tell you, it IS that bad, and I believe I still have $10 or 15 worth of chips to the Belle that I never cashed out due to gettin the frick so quick

I honestly was suppose to go there tonight to go watch a guy, a friend works with, box, however; that guy decided to play flag football last weekend and fricked up his knee and was not able to fight tonight.
