if that pickup didnt go off the road.

And to those claiming "no harm, no foul" because crazy civilian didn't hit anyone...

How about the possible damages to this pickup for having to go offroad suddenly? He may be out of pocket for a wheel alignment, tires from roadside debris damage, damaged paint from spewing gravel,...

Did any of you frickwads actually watch the video? It’s a miracle she didn’t.
Mind boggling to trivialize her driving. She almost caused multiple accidents, swerving in front of cars and running them off the road.
What if a meteor struck the earth and killed us all?

I mean if you’re going to do hypotheticals, do it right.

You sound like a raging lib. We can’t carry guns because they might go off and kill someone’s kid. We have to protect the children.

I can understand speeding to a certain degree but not running lights (unless absolutely no one is around), driving erratically and running other cars off the road.

Obviously, I didn’t mean blindly running through red lights at busy intersections and running people off the road. However, when the opportunity presents itself to run the red light or speed around people then you and everyone else here would do it if it meant potentially saving their dog.

How did this sound good inside your brain? She intentionally drove against traffic, and didnt want the cop to stop her erratic behavior. Over a dog that was already dead!! And driving to a vet that was already closed!!

I simply pointed out that people die when people arent expecting traffic coming toward them, in their lane

And you called me a raging lib for wanting to ENFORCE the actual law?

No, you talked about something that might have happened. The same "logic" libs use to try and confiscate our guns and our freedoms.

And the Nazi clearly overreacted when the driver tried to explain what was happening.

Question: If it had been a person she was rushing to the hospital would you feel the same way?

They absolutely are. Posters in this thread saying a dog's life is worth more than a human. It's insane.

This is just stupid

Its a law on the books because its not just something that MIGHT happen. It does happen. A lot. A local woman I know got confused and turned into the wrong lane on a divided highway. The cars never expected to see her coming. She was killed in a head-on

The cops job was to prevent that. No one should defend this emotional basket case, because she got lucky

But it didn't this time. You want to take our guns too because something might happen? frick that.
Look, I'm not saying she shouldn't have gotten a ticket for speeding, but the Nazi had absolutely no need to cuff her and throw her in the back of her patrol car. She was in the wrong as well.

An already dead person? Like the dog? Hell yes.

Because a person would have already been receiving any care possible by a first responder, at her home. I cant believe you even thought this was a rational question. Thats why I ignored it at first

But you thinking its OK to drive against traffic, because she got away with it, and only likely because she (and other drivers) saw the cop, should have told me up front to be wary of your thoughts

C'mon man. The lady didn't decide to speed to the vet because her dog was dead. Get serious.

Are you serious? Nobody has driven a seriously ill/injured person to the emergency room?

She didn't drive against traffic.

You didnt watch the video

In the very first few seconds. she met the cop head-on as she was passing cars at a red light. In the wrong lane. Against the light

Try again

She went straight in a turn lane (to pass the cars ahead of her). She wasn't driving in the wrong lane.

Do you even own a driver's license?

Did she almost hit the cop or not? Was the light to go straight red, or not? The green turn signal was only for left turns, did she turn left?

At the :29 second mark of the video did she run a white truck off the road, by going into his lane, or not?
