If you remember that you are interviewing them as well it gets easier...Ask questions, especially a description of the day in the life.

I’m terrible at them. It also doesn’t help that most of the time the employer knows who they want to hire and they are just going through the motions. Usually though you can decide that in a few minutes. You want to experience the most BS interview process try higher education.

Job interviews are about being cool and relaxed, connecting with the person, and selling yourself without being too bragadocious.

They know your qualifications from your resume. They may ask you a few clarification questions and hypotheticals, but really they want to make sure you’re not a malcontent or fricking weirdo that will make their life harder.

I must not be too bad. I've interviewed for 4 jobs over the years and I've gotten every one so far.

I actually do really well in interview, but I am always nervous when I meet with my boss even though I do decent work.

It's like I have no problem selling myself, but it is hard to sustain.

Honestly I would have to say that it's one of my 3 biggest strengths.

Same here. I know how to sell myself. I learned from all the sluts on here.

Sure. Most of them ask easy predictable questions such as work experience, personal life, goals, etc. These are very easy questions to answer. Just stay relaxed and know what questions you would like to ask them. I usually ask them more questions than vise versa. I have never been on a job interview that I absoulutely wanted the job very badly. So I have never felt that type of stress before. My last job interview I went on that I did not get the job was no big deal. I shrugged my shoulders and never thought about it much again.

Check out the STAR method LINK

It’ll help you answer questions in an organized way - Situation you were in, Task you were assigned, Action you took, Result you experienced - STAR.

Also, the “tell me about yourself” question - list off three to five stengths - detailed, goal oriented, good communication, works well on teams - they do not want to hear your life story about where you’re from and all of that.

The “tell me your greatest weakness” question - answer it with something you can improve on with education. For instance, “I don’t speak Spanish, but I can learn with proper education./I’m not a PE yet, but I would like to take a class and take the exam, etc. Does your company offer education/training benefits?”

If you’re already personable, knowing how to organize your thoughts and ask the right questions will sigificantly help you get through the door.
