re: Are you getting a flu shot?

I think I’ve gotten 3 out of maybe the past 10 years. So I got the flu once because of the shot and once because I didn’t get the shot.

I thought I had had the flu until I actually had the flu at age 58, it was horrible, not like a bd cold, bronchitis even pneumonia, the body aches were almost unbearable, coughed so hard I think I cracked a rib, chills/fever,. I’m afraid if I got it now at 67 it might kill me, literally.

Person 2 can get the old people dose. Stronger.

And be clear, there are a few different flu's.
You can get a or b or both at once or a rarer bird flu.

People die in bigger percentages from avian flu.

People who never had it suffer as person 2 did if they get swine flu the first time.

These flus mutate constantly.
If a person carrying one kind gets another kind that person spreads a mutant kind.

Its unlikely that a given vaccine matches exposure perfectly but if that flu is new to you it will help a lot.
