My wife is pretty liberal, so we disagree on a few things (like healthcare), but at the end of the day, neither of us really care all that much.

We have more important things to worry about than the clownshow that is politics.

My wife is a staunch conservative. Not as extreme as I, but way more conservative than average. I have noticed her becoming more and more conservative over the last several years, so there is hope.

She’s also a public school teacher who bucks the system frequently, so for a least one year the kids at her school don’t get a a liberal indoctrination.

Kind of like Trump himself?

But I'm planning to vote for him anyway.

No, she doesn't.

And if she does, wow.

My wife was President of the Young Republicans at her university. She wears her Reagan/Bush shirt to the gym with no apologies. She is personal friends with Glenn Reynolds. So yeah, there are no blue beliefs in my house.

It's almost funny that he can't see how that reflects on his judgement. Almost.

It doesn't matter, considering it's not the truth.

We don't agree on everything but we aren't complete political opposites either. I'm more of a libertarian leaning conservative.

My wife is more socially conservative. She supported Trump early on. I would have voted for Rand Paul if he would have still be an option.

She wouldn't vote for a crazy person like Sanders, but she may vote for Biden. I don't really care, as Trump is going to dominate in our state anyway.

What part of the fantastic economy, strong military, and low unemployment does she hate?

Yep, same here. She can't understand why women would want to take the time to deal with all of the BS involved in politics.

I couldn't handle being married to a Stepford Wife.

Agree with me or don't...but for God's sake have an opinion based on independent thought and consideration.

It's really all about trust.

I voted early yesterday. Wifey voted after work. Before going to vote, she asked me who I voted for and I told her.
I know she voted for the same candidates as me, because we trust each other's judgement. I never tell her how to do anything.
She keeps me updated on education and judicial matters, and I keep her updated on legislative issues. Win/win.

I have a feeling she does

My wife isn’t a fan of Trump but has said she will vote for him because he is the best candidate to represent her. So that’s a win for me I guess

Nope. Not really even that close. Wife doesn't even pay much attention to politics and just blindly pulls the R straight ticket lever if she even makes the effort to vote. She's only voted a couple of times in our marriage.

The wife doesn’t really care about politics.

She relies on Scruffy for political info.
