When I read scripture, it just doesnt seem to jive with everything Ive always heard from many about the end times. To me it seems to point to Nero being the Antichrist and a lot of prophecy being fulfilled in AD 70

You had to know this thread on the OT would go like this.
That being said, Jesus said if the last days: you will see signs of the times. An increasing of knowledge. People will be ever hearing, yet without understanding. People will be lovers of themselves, having a sort of religion, but not that of GOD.
I happen to believe in pre-trib rapture, therefore will not see anti christ since he comes to power after rapture and sets himself up in the most holy of Holies. (The Jewish temple) which has been rebuilt.
(The Jews are making great stride in rebuilding the temple as we speak)
But dome of the rock is setting there now, so somehow they have to remove that in order to rebuild the temple. OR find it goes someplace different...stay tuned to that.

I have no idea who the antichrist is, but I will say this, that the majority of the world and the OT for that matter will buy into him hook line and sinker. The vast majority of the world will be deceived. I do think we’re living in those day though, and things are coming about to pave the way for him and the 2nd coming of Jesus Christ to put an end to all of this and usher in His kingdom, but who that is for now is a mystery.
It is said though that the generation who saw Israel reformed and become a nation again will see it unfold, and we are pretty much at the 10th hour.

Look up a man named Jiziahu Ben David. He fills a lot of categories on what the antichrist is supposed to be/do.
