Are we going to hit 100 inches of rain in NOLA

As of yesterday, We have had 71.19 inches of rain at MSY. Nicholas is predicted to bring us 8-10 inches this week. So say Nicholas leaves us and we are at 80 afterwards.

An average year brings us about 3 inches a month in October, and 5 inches in November and December. If we were just average for those three months... that would be 13 more inches, to get us to 93. Add 2 more inches for average for the second half of September, and that gets us to 95.

I think 100 is in striking range.

Most ever was 102 in 1991.

If it’s not the crime, corruption, lack of good public schools and healthcare along with poor quality of life, people in NOLA and Louisiana have to also put up with awful weather too.

are you serious Clark?

KL has 2-3 times the population of NOLA and i can assure you it’s faaaar more than 2-3 times nicer than NOLA.
