Are ugly people attracted to other ugly people?

Or are they just settling because that’s the best they can get? My roommate and I were debating this yesterday and were unable to come up with an answer. Throw all the “you can be attracted to someone for other things besides their looks” bullshite aside, this is strictly sexual attraction.
There was a couple we saw who were both so ugly the tide wouldn’t even take them out. Do they know this? Do ugly people have a different eye for beauty? Or are they just settling because they themselves are ugly and that’s the best they can do.
Please help me because I’m not ugly

When I was in college I was pretty broke and eggs were cheap. I didn't like eggs but I ate them everyday. Eventually I gotta taste for them and now I eat them all the time because I want them, not just because they're cheap.
