Who goes to a bar to watch a drama? "Quiet everyone, Daenyres is saying something".

Go to a bar to get drunk, talk to chicks, play pool and darts, watch some sporting event but not Game of fricking thrones

Yeah I know but BR has since become a college town over the years so since baseball is over and the NBA finals are here and summer usually sucks arse in BR anyway. GoT is the only breathing little saving grace it has left.

Time to drink and watch drama

This makes no sense.

Yea, watch it at a bar at the same exact time as game 7 of the NBA Finals.

I have been out of town and looked for GoT bars before. From what I understand, bars aren't legally allowed to show HBO, unless every single television there is independently paying for it. I don't see any real reason for a bar to invest in HBO in this age.

some people just stream it from their laptops and connect it to the outlet of tv's and all of them play game of thrones. I think because of the Cleganebowl and all the deadpool stuff when we see celebrity deaths on the news and stuff lol

What a bunch of limp wrist in this thread. Who gets hyped up over a tv show. And who has enough time to watch these shows when sports are almost always on?

I couldn't name a single show that plays on regular tv right now, much less the times and the days. Sounds like a boring way to live imo

Was in NOLA last fall for an OK-Go concert (not my idea) and wanted to catch the LSU game before going in. I must've been in the douchiest part of the whole city, if not the whole southeast region, because in each of the three bars we went into there were lone hipster ultrabetas with faces slathered in mustache wax watching GoT at the bar and telling every patron who walked in to "SSHHHHHHHH."

Pretty much ruined the city for me.

The overwhelming popularity of GoT is either the cause of or just the clearest sign of the impending fall of Western civilization.

I'm 54 and I just can't get into that show.

Probably me.

I will watch every episode of "Better call Saul".

Not as boring as watching the NBA... in my opinion.

stop being a cheap arse and go get the 10 dollar sub for HBO. At the very least you can cancel is after the season ends
