No offense, but that is an entirely different thing. Wearing a cheap though flashy suit from K&G is a far cry from where I'd like to see us go style-wise.

Why in the frick do I need to wear a coat and tie to go do every day activities?
If I can get away with wearing jeans, t-shirt, and tennis shoes that I pretty much what I will wear wherever I go. And during the summer, that's mesh shorts.
There has got to be a dang good reason for me to out a collared shirt or a pair of slacks on

My nephew is 13; all he wanted for Christmas was camouflage Duck Dynasty crap. He told me he was proud to be a redneck. I told he wasn't a redneck. He said, yes I am-- I like hunting & fishing. I said, liking those things doesn't make you a redneck. Plenty of people who dress nicely like those things.
If he wanted to go somewhere with me, I made him go take that stuff off. I said if you're hunting, great. But just like it's stupid to wear PJs in public, hunting clothes are for hunting.
These same kids all think Oregon is the greatest team outside of LSU b/c of their silly costumes. I guess it's all pageantry-- either preppy or redneck. But one lets you to fit in almost anywhere, the other looks like you just skinned a squirrel and didn't bother to change clothes after.

Maybe it's the fedora with t-shirt and shorts that y'all are hating on?
I don't know.
But I agree that we as a nation are a bunch of fricking slobs.
Does that mean we should all wear a suit and tie to cut the grass? No, the right cloths for the occasion. Suit and Tie for things like weddings, funerals, graduation, etc. Jeans and a T for working on your car, cutting the grass, or hanging out at home. Shorts if it's hot out.
The one exception is yoga pants. Hot chicks should wear them a lot more.
