The royal blood line has certainly been broken several times throughout history by cheating queens and princesses, right?

That's a good question. I would assume so.

I generally agree with this answer: (from Quora)

quote:

It can be safely presumed that during the course of Harry's life one or more of medical tests have resulted in testable samples. From those samples, Harry's parentage can be determined and probably was. There are a host of reasons, mostly related familial or genetic illnesses why this would be done. Since he is now 31 years and none of the major tabloids has ever outed him as not being the issue of both the late Princess Diana and Prince Charles, it can be safely presumed that he is. It would be next to impossible to hide such a story in this day and age. NOTE: Since Harry's partying ways and Charles' travel mean that their DNA is on or in numerous objects around the globe, obtaining it would not be difficult. If an enterprising paper outside of the UK (and thus not subject to its libel laws) has not done this, then it can presumed that they know the answer to this question.

Meh. Charles cried on their honeymoon because he was all up in Camilla's shite. I hope she got enough to make her happy putting up with his miserable arse.

The one of him in the white long sleeved shirt favors Charles with his long facial bone structure, honestly.

If he was an illegitimate child, I can't imagine the Queen just rolling with him being within reasonable line to the throne. Not after how she herself became Queen.

I think in olden times someone outside of the family had to witness the birth to make sure it was legit. However no way to test back then.

I don't think he meant birth, I think he meant consumation.

quote:

In general, the act of bedding on the wedding night was not considered a private affair, but rather a public investment in a couple. It was common for families and friends to bring the couple to their bed as a way of endorsing the couple’s marriage (even when they didn’t stay to witness the consummation). The practice of having witnesses applied primarily to royalty or important people who used marriages to form alliances and strategic advantages in wealth and power. In such cases it was important that the marital act signal an unbreakable union. Without consummation, the marriage could later be declared null and the couple could be granted an annulment. Thus witnesses could testify to the validity of the marriage, especially if anyone later questioned it. If the bride became pregnant on the wedding night, the witnesses also helped to defend the legitimacy of the heir.
