Science and medicine couldn't possibly have advanced to the point of better and earlier detection of health defects since 1950. It's obviously millennials own fault for being so lazy.
I mean, come on. Previous generations thought they could work hard till they're 65 and then live off the next generation for 20+ years. As a millennial I envision having to work till I croak in orde to live comfortable all my life.

I blame the internet and people self diagnosing based on what they read. Everyone probably has a characteristic or two of autism but that doesn't mean everyone is autistic. But they read up and recognize symptoms in themselves or kid and that has to influence what happens in a doctors office.
And for every good source out there that helps people get help early, there is probably a hundred crack pot, whackadoodle articles and such that aren't and people take them as truth. My cousin posted an article saying that the 50% increase in autism over the past few years is directly attributed to kids watching Peppa Pig. And she believes it!

Most men didn't make it past 71 and people didn't spend every dime they could get.
