I can have my bank send checks for shite that can't be paid online.

Me too for the most part but I still have to write checks for school stuff sometimes. I had to write a check for her cross country team fees last week actually.

Which aren't practical vehicles.

Nothing like a daily stop and go commute with a manual transmission.

There are still some things that I can't pay online. I probably write 4-5 per year at most though.

The only thing we use checks for is our weekly offering at church, and that's so we can keep records of it for a write off.

I wouldn’t call a checkbook hipster. Now if that bastard was trying to balance said checkbook with an abacus then yes.

I don't know my PIN number so I still write checks for cash.

Because they like to be paid for their merchandise I'd assume. In my house, 90% of our bills are paid with checks. Now if we're looking for something idiotic to complain about, how about a Hilton Garden Inn I stayed at four years ago. They would not accept a cash payment from me when checking out. Only plastic, no cash and no checks.

Because if you trashed the room, they wouldn't be able to charge you for it.

Sure they would. They had my credit card number from when I made my reservation, they had my license plate number and also checked my driver's license when checking in.

Yeah that was a stupid comment along with the rest of his post.

My wife was born in the 90s and even she has and writes checks.

I got a check book at 16. Mom taught me how to balance it too.
