nursing

yeah, you're an idiot. I'm in my last semester of nursing school and i already had 3 job interviews in baton rouge where the job is mine once i graduate.

likewise, we're moving to houston and i applied for a job there. already had a phone interview with them and i go in person during march.

so yeah, it's pretty fricking easy to get any job that i want as a nurse with a bachelors degree.

So you can get "any job you want" as a low level nurse? And you've had THREE whole interviews?? WOW. Point proven brochacho.

Doesn't sound like you have shite yet. Probably would already be collecting paychecks with a degree in ISDS. Much bigger ones too, and for less labor and better hours.

I've had 3 because I've only applied to 3... and I'm not even graduated yet. I don't think you understand how nursing works... people generally apply to 1 or 2 positions because they want to specialize in that certain unit.

So starting off at $27/hr working 3 12's a week and paid for 40 is "doesn't have shite"? Hmm. Ok. Whatever you say brochacho.

I'll take my chances with my path. Whoever takes your advice in life, id beg them to steer clear.

What about biomedical equipment tech, radiology tech and electronics tech degrees?

All good, I have known dozens of Biomed techs the ones with a few years experience make 65-75K, Radiology Techs at most hospitals I have worked with are on the same pay scale as RNs.

Accounting salaries vary greatly depending on whether you earn a CPA license. Most of the high status jobs in accounting require it. It's possible to do well without it, but you have limited opportunities without one.

Entry level in public accounting at a regional or national firm is going to pay low to mid 50s. However, upward trajectory is huge. You could expect to be making or approaching 100k in five years.

Masters typically is not required as long as you have 150 hours to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam.

I have my bachelors in Mechanical Engineering and an Associates in Design/Drafting. I make more money using my associates because I get paid hourly instead of a salary.

I'd throw accounting in there as well, if you have 150 hrs and can get CPA

I don't think you need an accounting degree. You just need a certain amount of college hours and a certain amount of those have to be accounting classes.
