I have come to the conclusion that some people can't handle being away from their phone at all. When I am doing shite I sometimes leave my phone in the car or turn notifications off because it is distracting. My wife is a teacher and can't have her phone on in the class so she has it off during the school day. Why do some spouses feel they need to have a leash on each other all the time?

Focus status is the old Do Not Disturb. I like that it encouraged asynchronous messaging. I keep mine on because I don’t do notifications on my phone at all.
