Apparently fans of the Israeli team were marching through town tearing down Palestinian flags, chanting “F Palestine” and started using a crowbar on a cab

This doesn’t seem to be hooligan related. Oddly enough Ajax has some Jewish roots and their fans used some Jewish imagery in the past. Also hooliganism definitely peaked years ago.

Yeah, it does. A group of supporters of the Israeli team went through town trying to pick a fight, supporters of the Muslim team attacked them, and a violent fight ensued.
