This is really a sad story. No doubt the homeowner did what he had to do.
But the kid was just a stoner. He was a small fella and was hopped up on something hallucinogenic. As a parent you wish someone could have calmed him down and avoided killing him.
Ultimately that homeowner didn't have time to frick around thinking about how to deescalate he situation when the kid kept on coming after taking 1st shot. Just sucks.

I never broke into any one's house while fricked up but I did wander into and spend a long time in some guy's greenhouse in the middle of the night when I was tripping balls. I just wanted to chill with the plants. I wonder what this kid was on.

So it took 6-7 accurate shots to down this attacker but we still have politicians questioning why any mag greater than 6-capacity is necessary
