We've all been there.
I won't talk about the Thunderbird Super Coupe I just had to have.

Car buying advice from Will Cover would have been very helpful when I bought my vehicle.

Other than that I would 100% use a credit union too.
Mine doesn't do business loans of any kind so I have to keep a bank for that
don't know if that's sop for credit unions or just mine

out there in beauregard parish, the cops are particularly nosy.

Why wouldnot you just buy it as a business vehicle and take the bonus depreciation in year 1?
Couldn't I sell it to my business when I am finished with it as a personal vehicle and still do this?

I was a first time car buyer fresh out of school when I bought mine. No debt no credit history. I drive quite a bit to say the least so I had to have something low mileage and didn't really like the barely used options at the time. I bought a new vehicle optioned very nicely and the note is 950 a month. Because I drive so much my company issues a monthly car allowance so it takes away the sting. Not a smart decision by any means but frick it. You can only be young and dumb for a while before you're just dumb.

I just went through trying to get a title for a 16' trailer that came into my possession. I finally got it but it was a PITA
I am also about to get a free Kawasaki Mule as soon as the bank releases the house to me it's located at. I will not be able to title it either unless I get my tow license and designate a tow yard. Not sure what to do with it.

Ain't nothing free. If they'll give you a zero interest rate on one price, they'll give you an even lower price on a cash deal. Cash is the mother fricking king. Period. The. End.

It's OK to splurge..but seriously why put money down on something that will depreciate?
To each their own I guess but to me it's like flushing money down the toilet.

Maybe, but you wouldn't get the full amount of the write off vs. buying new. Talk to a tax accountant.

Why would you need to title it. Have never been asked for a title or anything else for that matter on an atv

At that point, you didn't have leverage. Plus, you had really no idea how the BS works.
Next time, you'll have super credit and you'll know a lot more.
