So you don’t care about your views being respresented
Posted on 11/6/18 at 8:22 pm to Bossier2323
You’re one of the most pathetic posters on this site so not surprised

I didn’t. Nothing sexy on my ballot.

You're assuming the candidates represent my views

I was too busy but I’ll bitch like hell if I don’t like the results

Ding, ding, ding. None of those assholes represent a thing I believe in. All they represent are the people who put up the money to get them there. Its beyond naive to believe otherwise. He who has the purse has the strings.

I voted but I'm not sweating it out. Whatever happens, happens. I looked in on the poliboard and those guys make the Rant on gameday seem sane and rational.

The Poli-board is starting to melt.
Tonight may be glorious over there.

Nope, didn't vote and haven't since Bush/Cheney when I was 18 and still thought my vote mattered.
I've learned through Bush, Obama, Trump, etc etc etc that no matter what a-hole/holes are in charge, nothing really changes in my day to day life.
I remember when the majority of my friends lost their minds when Obama was elected b/c the country was going to hell... After 8 yrs in office, how has their life changed at all? It hasn't. Same for liberals and Trump. I don't even bother with politics anymore. It's just rich, lying politicians no matter what party.

I didn't vote, don't even know what was being voted on honestly
Posted on 11/6/18 at 9:45 pm to The Mick
Thanks to voter suppression tactics of Republicans I had to pay a $32 poll tax to vote. You can be sure I voted today.
Posted on 11/6/18 at 10:07 pm to The Mick
I didn’t
I have actually never voted. I am 32 years old.

I did not. I refuse to support what these political parties and candidates have become.
Posted on 11/6/18 at 10:10 pm to The Mick
If you vote, don’t complain. You agreed to the process.

Local elections are far more important than national elections, or for national offices.

You don't need to be the deciding vote for it to matter. That misses the entire point of the process. Democracy is not about individuality. It's the opposite.
Your argument might as well be that you don't see the point in participating in society because your individual contribution makes relatively little difference.
