Ding, ding, ding. None of those assholes represent a thing I believe in. All they represent are the people who put up the money to get them there. Its beyond naive to believe otherwise. He who has the purse has the strings.

I voted but I'm not sweating it out. Whatever happens, happens. I looked in on the poliboard and those guys make the Rant on gameday seem sane and rational.

Nope, didn't vote and haven't since Bush/Cheney when I was 18 and still thought my vote mattered.

I've learned through Bush, Obama, Trump, etc etc etc that no matter what a-hole/holes are in charge, nothing really changes in my day to day life.

I remember when the majority of my friends lost their minds when Obama was elected b/c the country was going to hell... After 8 yrs in office, how has their life changed at all? It hasn't. Same for liberals and Trump. I don't even bother with politics anymore. It's just rich, lying politicians no matter what party.

Thanks to voter suppression tactics of Republicans I had to pay a $32 poll tax to vote. You can be sure I voted today.

If you vote, don’t complain. You agreed to the process.

Local elections are far more important than national elections, or for national offices.

You don't need to be the deciding vote for it to matter. That misses the entire point of the process. Democracy is not about individuality. It's the opposite.

Your argument might as well be that you don't see the point in participating in society because your individual contribution makes relatively little difference.
