Pro's/Con's?

As someone who hates shopping I've debated using it in the past but not sure if it would be better than going to a website and just ordering what I want.

I did Trunk Club for a couple of months. The stuff they sent was ridiculously priced, so I sent everything back except for one shirt I really liked.

Stitch Fix is supposedly a lot cheaper, but I have no personal experience.

ETA - What actually made me cancel was in the 2nd box they sent me, there was a shirt they were going to charge me $125 to keep. It was a nice shirt, and I really liked it. Trunk Club is owned by Nordstrom, so I went on Nordstrom's site and found the shirt and it was listed for $70. The shoes they sent with that box were also cheaper on their main site, but only like $10. I emailed them and they refused to honor the price on their website, so I boxed everything up and sent it back and cancelled. I get an email from them at least once a month trying to entice me back.

I wouldn't mind trying new styles as everything I order right now comes straight from Online. I haven't walked into a store to buy a piece of clothing in 10+ years.

I do. I needed to update and get rid of a lot of old shite in my wardrobe. I get a new box every month and there has only been a few times I didn't keep everything. The stylist I have does a great job. Every time I get something new, I take something else out of my closet.

What type of styles or did you update your style to fit the box?

I just did it last week. Got one box and kept everything. They did a great job of picking out stuff I liked. It was like $230 after tax to keep everything. 2 button up shirts, a pair of jeans, a pair of chinos, and a hoodie/shirt.

I went through the profile questionnaire they make you do before they send you anything. I basically did my usual style that I've always done but selected that I was open to some new ideas. Occasionally they will show you pictures of different style clothing and ask if you like it or not and that is saved to your profile.

The stuff that I have really liked were things that were out of my normal style I didn't think would look good on me.

Yeah, way cheaper than Trunk Club. Both boxes I got from them were over $500 for everything in it.

I did it for a while - but, unless you keep everything in your box and get the discount, it's over-priced. I've found the same pair of jeans in a boutique for cheaper than what I got them through stitch fix. I quit because I was keeping things I only kind of liked to get the discount to make it "worth it" in my head. But I did love getting my box every month - just found I was spending more than I wanted to for what I was getting.

So essentially 200 every 3 months is what I would be looking at, not bad... Kinda expected more since they never give a price during signup

Yeah that's how they get you. It's all overpriced so that buying the whole box gives you the "discount" that brings everything to their actual normal retail.

That's why I did mine to get a box every 3 months.

You pick your price range during the sign up process. They ask what you're willing to pay for each type of item.

Yeah I know, I think I was $75 and under during sign up process but I don't know if I want to spend 200-300 on one month for a box of clothes
