These are the shoes my podiatrist recommended for people with flat feet. They were expensive but are pretty solid.

I have those exact shoes and they smell to high heaven after about 3 months of wearing them every other day or so. I can only use them for exercise now

I have had at least 5-6 pairs of these shoes, starting with the original 990s. I think I still have them all in varying degrees of wear somewhere around the house. This post has me thinking that maybe I'll have to pull the trigger and get the newes the revision. Probably the best shoe out there.

I have wide feet so I was wearing New Balance before New Balance was cool. Once I started wearing these I've never worn anything else. 999, 992, 993, etc.
