The only thing that prevents you from getting a twic is a felony. Has this guy been convicted of a felony yet?

If he resigned in Oct and the allegations didnt come out until Dec..then nothing would have shown up on his background

Not yet which is why I said it's not hard to understand why he got hired. He has a degree and no record.
Now when he is charged I doubt he keeps that job despite the fact that apparently Plaquemine is second only to Washington DC in political power in the USA.

You can get a TWIC with a criminal history. All they really care about is terrorism related offenses. Plenty of felons with TWICs
