Anyone see the C 130 flying around New Orleans

Looks like a C 130 but I’m sure someone will tell me I’m wrong.

Pretty cool anyways.

The back hatch is open as well. Taking laps around the CBD and Uptown

Yep they are pretty cool.

I got to fly in one to Ft. Hood from New Orleans for a LA National Guard training event back in 2004.

They put in an airline seat section for us civilians to ride in.

I even got to go up in the cockpit (insert your own pun here) to look around.

I also learned to never stand behind the engines unless you want to smell like jet fuel for a few days.

C-130 rolling down the strip...
New Orleans a dead arse city, not worth the trip.
Best part about it is when its overflown

rode in the cockpit of a Herc once(after being in an Eagle,) after we took off I kept thinking, man! when are we going to get there? and I meant to 2000'

Flew in a C5 on the way back from Iraq with 3 Huey's and 3 cobras in the belly. Spain to Pendleton, no stops, Arial refuel.
