He was disbarred.

What for?

I always wondered what happened to him. He seemed as old as dirt back in the 90's. I figured he would be dead by now.

EDIT:

It appears that he has written some books and has a YouTube channel.

I don't get why they used menus as the example of something easily read. Have you seen that anywhere else? I peruse a menu. I don't know that I want my lawyer just perusing the law applicable to my case.

Not to mention reading a menu usually leads to other questions. I agree not a good analogy.

There was a time when Lawyers could not advertise on TV as well as Pharmaceutical companies.

I remember that ad, too, but the name of the firm escapes me.

I also remember these:

"I got a catch in my back and neck and I feel a little dizzy."

"eL NO PE!" (a mnemonic for Little or No Out of Pocket Expense)

Wait - I remember one called Gavin Chiropractic, where he used the acronym 'N.O.O.P.E.' and pronounced it "noopey" and then said "No out of pocket expense to you..."

He was a bearded fellow. Looked sorta molester-esque.

but I cannot think of the other.

He was indicted in the late 90's and DeSalvo went on his own.

I recall that one, too. Was almost like a copy of the El No Pe ad.

Vincent Desalvo is a very prominent LSU fan.

Does that mean he does not have to wait for a table at Ruffino’s and plays golf with the scone man and the relief windows guy
