Anyone remember the 80s/90s lawyer commercial?

It was two guys that would say “this guy is a pit bull in the courtroom” and “this guy reads law books like other people read menus” or something.
Trying to remember who the lawyers/firm was.

I remember it well, but can't remember their names. However, to this day, I still have no clue as to what was meant (or meant to be conveyed) by this.

the only commercials I remember from the 80's and 90's are the dan and dave commercials and the Ernest commercials.

Anyone who uses the term “law books” without irony is either incompetent or an idiot.

Desalvo and Harris. Vincent Desalvo is a very prominent LSU fan.

Desalvo and Harris may have been the first lawyer commercials in Baton Rouge. Definitely predates Morris Bart and E. Eric Guirard

Was that the black and white guy and the black guy says "he's da HAMMA!"?

Vincent DeSalvo: He reads law books like other people read menus.

He won my Dad Wrongful Death suit in 2007 Nursing Home Neglect!!

Mr. DeSalvo made sure I got the treatment I needed and guided me every step of the way. He spent time with me and worked very hard to get the best outcome for my accident and not just “settle”. I think the world of him and would highly recommend him to anyone needing legal help

L.D. Sledge maybe?
I remember him and Percy Sledge in a commercial together.

I remember that ad, too, but the name of the firm escapes me.
I also remember these:
"I got a catch in my back and neck and I feel a little dizzy."
"eL NO PE!" (a mnemonic for Little or No Out of Pocket Expense)

Not sure I'd want my lawyer attacking toddlers

That he easily reads law books.

I don't get why they used menus as the example of something easily read. Have you seen that anywhere else?
I peruse a menu. I don't know that I want my lawyer just perusing the law applicable to my case.
Just always has stuck with me as a goofy line.

Vincent DeSalvo was one of them, but I cannot think of the other.
