My mom has one and it's the only cat I've ever been afraid of. I think it's crazy though.

Cats are awesome. We have one that we got from one of the local adoption houses, I think Project Purr. He is the most laid back animal ever, or so I thought. We just recently got a new ragdoll kitten. He isn't scared of anything and thinks he is a dog.

I love cats, yea a dog is a mans best friend, but I feel a mans personality is closer to a cat...laid back, doesn't require much attention, loves time to oneself, very self-sufficient. Plus there frickin adorable.

Our cat showed up in the flower beds almost 4 years ago ... my daughter was able to coax it out and it's been here ever since. Didn't want to come in the house for a LONG time and now it doesn't go out much except to take care of business.
Son's allergies flare up when he's home from school and the shedding drives me nuts. That said, cat is staying!
