I volunteered to walk dogs at the shelter here in Austin and ended up adopting the first dog I walked. Love that guy.

My dog is from the Jefferson Parish SPCA. Evidently he got out after Gustav and nobody claimed him. Purebred lab too. Baddest arse dog I've ever seen.

I actually knew a lady that worked there and she knew I was looking for a lab. She kept him hidden and called me before he was ready to get out
