They aren't any fun they're just to knock me out

Depending on what they are, insomnia is a sign of withdrawal. You could go into seizures.

That's what the pills are for

What do you mean? How have I stayed up? I don't get tired until around day 4 and I'm hallucinating heavily at that point

I'm awake now, unfortunately. I have a sleep study consultation on Thursday of this week.

It's not that bad
But jerking off is frowned upon

I can see how that may skew the testing somewhat.

This thread's cooler than my car one. My 10 year old is a creepy non-sleeper.

Don't ever hesitate to drop kick them if they're just standing silent in the hallway starring at you in the middle of the night

I suffer from insomnia.
I haven't taken any meds in a few months. I don't care for ambien. Lunesta makes me have a horrible garlic taste. Restoril is about the only rx sleep only med I take. But it's a benzo, so I don't like to take them continuously.

I can't even imagine being an insomniac, so I feel for you. I am an easy sleeper. I'm in Europe now, and I never really have any issues with sleeping or even time change... Left Sunday 4 pm, didn't sleep at all on the plane, arrived around 10 AM (had a connection), had meetings Monday all day, and went to bed at 10 last night. Woke up at 8 this morning feeling wonderful, slept right through the night. This sort of shite would be fricking torture if I were an insomniac

Where are you? I'm in Prague for work presently.
It doesn't really bother you until you hit that wall of exhaustion and you're hallucinating and really delirious.
I get a ton of shite done

What kind of pills?
72 hours is a walk in the park.....but I still feel for you.
I've seen some good hallucinations. My buddy, the sparkly, translucent yellow spider comes to visit me every couple of months.
For you Sleep newbies.....when you go into a Sleep Doctors office the first thing you will notice is that everyone there immediately begins steering you toward getting a C-Pap.....whether you've been diagnosed with apnea or not. Sleep doctors are the used car salesmen of the medical world.
