Anyone know where I can buy a stainless steel box?

Anyone know where I can buy/get made a large stainless steel box similar to one for a cajun microwave? I want to make a fancy wooden ice chest.

Any local fab shop will do it,build your outer shell first,so it can be exactly how you want it.
Aluminum might be better though.it should be lighter in weight and cost about the same.

I was thinking working from the inside out would be easier? Tub then 1-2" Foam board then wood

well, I was thinking" you probably have a certain space where you will use it,so you want it to fit. The fab guys can build whatever you need on the inside.
I was considering that you know exactly what you need on the outside already,and are going to build that yourself.

It would be cheaper/easier to build around a igloo type cooler and it would be insulated with a drain. Search the web for some plans and ideas.

Yeah I know you can make them like that but I figured the staiess would be nicer and I could make a custom size
