Long story short, I know someone who had covid November last year, and they got pretty sick. Not hospital or anything but it wasn’t a pleasant virus. Now this past Friday, tested positive for covid and has walking pneumonia. Anyone heard of someone getting covid twice?

I had it back in January and I’m pretty sure I had it last March before we had COVID test but I can’t prove it.

My daughter had it back in January, she started feeling bad a couple weeks ago, so I took her to urgent care.
The doctor said in the 1000’s of cases, he had only seen two people that got it a second time.
He didn’t even test her for it the second time, said she don’t have it.

I heard about a lady who got covid from her husband but she was also trying to get it again from a guy at the pool.

Just went to a funeral last weekend for a guy who died from COVID. He was 45.

Then how did he test positive if he doesn’t have covid?

I'm not saying this to say he doesn't have corona but there's been some examples that have shot positive tests down. Long covid exists. And its been widely publicized that they accept a covid test as positive at a higher amplification than other tests. I've read that the only way secondary infections are confirmed (or used to be before delta) is that there is a negative test at some point between positive tests.

PCR isn't diagnostic

He may have traces if the virus, but his pneumonia is the issue and they will say it's because of corona.

Yes. Coworker had it in November last year and again a few weeks ago. Both positive test with similar symptoms. They were not vaccinated.
