Had one sexual partner 22 years ago. She got married and we remain friends till this day.

I would like to spend quality time with other ladies but I am at a disadvantage since I am 50 years old. I am a pretty good guy with a good career and retirement and I still have trouble finding a lady to share a life with.

I am not into Tinder or any hookup sites. I don't go drinking or using drugs either. I need to lose about 40 lbs and I have been trying hard to workout. Everything seems difficult.

it sucks that I grew up in a fearful, oppressive environment that treated sex as a negative act and led to me being clueless when it came to dating girls. It took until my 2nd year of college when I had been on my own enough to start feeling more comfortable about it.

I was homeschooled/vocational discernment (i was gonna be a priest) and they pretty much shame you for having sexual thoughts and such. You're supposed to say Jesus name over and over again if you think about a titty. What kind of shite is that to tell a 14 year old?

Been more than one. Just wondering it would have been better to just be with one. Nah.

Do most people know what their count is,

It's probably north of 20. I'm 30 and my first was when i was 17 so that is like 1.5 girls per year. Not that many when you look at it that way. 8 or so were in about 6 months when I was hitting tinder and bumble hard.

Yep. I outkicked my coverage so badly it should be a crime. Still can't believe she married me.

4 decades later she's still hot. I'm not stupid enough to screw that up.

Oh crap, I cannot believe I started this thread. It's very cringy.

My first time drunk posting. Welp, I guess I'm a big kid now.

Anyhoo, many many years ago I did three day eventing. Been out of that for over 20 years - now I just ride for fun.

I’ve never had a partner.

I’m the fricker and she’s the frickee.

There is no partnership.

OK, here you go. I met my wife when we were both 17. Neither of us had been with anyone else. We've now been married going on 38 years, and neither of us has been unfaithful.

It's not tragic by any means.

Sure, once you’ve purchased the meat, you’ve got to stay home and eat it... But before that, you should go to LOTS of restaurants to find out what you like and how to make it.

Meh.

I stopped counting at 24 years old. I've been with dozens, probably over a hundred. Still only found two women I clicked with. Sex is sex. Nothing that special about it. What's important takes place outside the bedroom.

I drunk post often. And you have bigger balls than I do. Lack of depth perception means I only jump things that will come down if hit.

There is that side to it and that's the side I'm on. The bright side of this is that I know how bad and good it can be out there. I also know exactly what I have at home and how good it is. If you know what you like, then it's just a learning curve and time with your partner to get the sexual aspect of your relationship to where it's perfect for the both of you.

On the other side of things, if you've only had one partner, then what you have at home is the best sex you have and will ever have. I'd be alright with that, but that's just not the way it went for me. In this scenario, you get to discover and explore the things you like with your partner.

In either case, see the poster who said sex was like pizza. It's all pretty good. If you have the right partner, whether you've had other partners or not, you'll both adapt and change with time to where the sex will always get better. No one likes only the same exact position, or whatever, over and over forever, it's always changing/repeating phases/cycles.
