Sorry boss, that's old school. It now takes two incomes and no pensions.
Bingo. It used to be the norm.... Work hard, loyal, a company provides healthcare and pension until you die. In a few years you might start seeing companies eliminate insurance programs all together as costs rise.

You misspelled, "unincorporated territory of the United States."
I would know better than you. I live here, you don't

offers a retirement pension today?
USA Social Security
How much would you get per month today?
You and the wife turn your home into a rental with mgmt fee you net at least $1k/month
so if you have an income of lets just say $2k
Philippines
You'd be living like you made 8k/month here at least.

So, the Philippines is very, very doable on an American salary. Now, excuse me there. Basically, I would estimate you would need maybe a maximum of $1,200 a month to live in the Philippines. If you can make $1,200 a month or if you have access to $1,200 a month, you can live pretty easily here. And I’m not talking like some sort of hand-to-mouth existence. You can have a pretty good deal of luxuries, okay.

please direct me to a private sector company that offers a retirement pension today? As in if you started working there today? My father in law is retiring this year with a company pension after being their for 35 years.
A pension and social security are designed to keep you living within your means, not to generate wealth. I would much rather be in charge of managing and accumulating my wealth with a 401k/IRA, than rely on someone else to supply me a check every month for me to live within my means.
But that's just me, I know how to manage my finances and better myself, you know the American Way.

His company grandfathered him due to his hire date which made him pension eligible. They also began a 401k program.
ETA: just because someone has a company pension doesn't mean they didn't have a savings account as well lol.
