Is it 1) affecting your normal/reasonable functionality, and 2) on a regular basis?
1 alone is sufficient but 2 definitely escalates it.

You’d rather know it’s nothing or even something hopefully treatable, rather than know Nothing, as something gets worse beyond repair.

what kind of tests did they run on you if you dont mind me asking?

I had an EEG for the head and most recently an EKG for the heart.

I’m sure that doesn’t cover everything it could possibly be, but it was enough to put me at ease.

Back when I was trucking it happened and I blacked out for a few seconds, came to and was still between the lines at 65mph...scary.

Not really. Its brief in duration and i regain motor functions within seconds

Its becoming more frequent when i cough now.

They put my wife on this blood pressure medicine called losartin.

It makes her cough ... she says it's like a tickle in her throat. (Which usually leads to me saying "I can coat that for you" which makes her giggle.)

Anyways, doctor said to just roll with it. Her blood pressure is lower. She works out all the time. She even coughs in her sleep sometimes ... drives me nuts.

I dunno. That's all I got.

I’ve passed out a couple of times during a coughing fit usually when I am sick. I had heart tests run and everything is normal. Doctor told me to gargle with chloraseptic spray when I have a cold to reduce the tingle in the throat.

I pass out when I laugh too hard

Only happened once to me. Too long of a story, but it’s a good one. I woke up a few seconds later on the hotel bar floor and ordered another drink.

I've never like passed out and fallen down, but there have been times during bad allergy attacks when I felt winded and lightheaded after coughing fits. I would sit down to catch my breath and then be out like a light for a while. Open my eyes and look at my phone shocked to see how much time had passed.

The frick kind of question is that? No. Ive never passed out taking a shite

Straining to take a shite can cause a "vagal maneuver" that can slow heart rate...people have died taking a shite before.

Getting people in rapid heart rate (SVT) to pretend to take a shite...strain like you might in the same circumstances...can actually get the heart back into rhythm.

Truth.

Happend to a friend of mine. He did pass out and destroyed a brand new Kenworth. He was working for Swift.

He died from cancer a lttle over a year later.

It's your body's way of telling you that you aren't emotionally equipped to be an Auburn fan.

You should slow down and pull over if you start coughing.

Have this exact same issue with a cough and blurry/almost passing out. Been going on for a month and thought it was just cold, going to dr. this morning as it has gotten worse last few days. Non-smoker.
