They suck. Waste of money but most of all its very time consuming as well having to go to court, AA meetings, meeting with lawyers, community service, litter detail, getting a breathalyzer calibrated, meeting with probation officer.

Do you guys know you are endangering the lives of innocent people when you get behind the wheel impaired?
I say make the penalties so severe, people won't do it. Part of the problem in this country, penalties for crimes like this are way too lenient.

I got one in Lake Charles. Good friend of mine is a lawyer so he got me on pretrial, only cost me about $1000 and a bottle of scotch for my buddy.
I had moved to a different city before I got on pretrial and the lady didn't make me do trash detail. Had to do all the other crap though.
