I used to. My drops were always in City Park or random public areas of the city.

I use the Geocaching app. From what I've seen, it's the best.

Did my post give you the idea? The best app is the geocaching app. There are others out there, but the official one by Groundspeak Inc. is what I recommend

Use the geocaching app, by Groundspeak. I've tried others and they all have serious downfalls comparatively.

Yea, I've done some reading up on it and am excited to do it with the kids. I just want them to get a bit older first (Ages 6, 2, and 5 months)

I used to do it when you had to use the website and a Garmin GPS.

I would just Rob all the coins and tokens out of them. I still have a trove of them somewhere, haha.

The problem I keep running into is either muggles moving the caches or people just going with the first GPS reading that pops up. I can't stand when you read the comments and most are "well it's 20+ feet away".

One of the worst things that has happened to geocaching is the smartphone GPS.
