Anyone Having Issues With Delays of Christmas Gifts You’ve Bought Online?

I haven’t done a whole lot of online shopping for gifts, but what I have done has been normal. I’ve received all of the items in a reasonable amount of time. We were told to start shopping even earlier than normal due to issues with the supply chain and trucking. Just wondering if it’s been legitimate or a ploy to get people shopping sooner.

Only thing that's been delayed for me is an international order I placed over a month ago. Not sure it'll get here.
I have non Christmas gifts orders that have been delayed multiple times and backordered.
But just regular Christmas gifts items I hadn't had any trouble.

Everything that I have ordered that is being delivered via FedEx has been, delayed, lost, or refunded.

Nope. Started shopping before Thanksgiving and got everything wrapped and under the tree last week. It actually went a lot more smoothly than the past couple of years - nothing got lost in the mail/fed ex.
P.S. There are no issues with trucking, it's everything else that's f'd up (ports, warehouses, etc). The truckers are out there working.

Only ordered through Amazon. Checked the delivery date before I ordered and only ordered items that said arrival before Christmas. Had no issues. Some may have taken a day or two longer, but they all got here.

Everything I’ve had shipped from FedEx has been wildly delayed. I paid for overnight shipping on something coming from Alabama December 1st. It still isn’t here. Another package was delayed for 20 days at a facility in Bessemer, AL. A couple other things had a few extra days tacked on. No real problems with Amazon, UPS, or USPS. Maybe a day later than scheduled.

I have a new iPhone that was supposed to arrive Friday via FedEx. It’s been sitting at the Baton Rouge location since then. I live in Prairieville. It’s sitting there 30 minutes away.

got most of my stuff but have 2 orders from 2 places that are going to be too late for Christmas.

Everything I ordered has arrived prior to scheduled date.
Not really how or why this is happening.

Yeah there was a whole lot of fear mongering about a month ago with post and articles saying it was going to be a horrible Christmas when nobody could get their stuff in time.

If you are shipping Amazon packages to the Houma-Thibodaux area good luck.
Since mid last week all most of my orders could not ship out until after Christmas despite being in stock.
What sucks is I that I had a lot of Amazon gift cards to use. I may try to order some items and have it delivered to an Amazon locker in Metairie at Whole Foods if they still do that.

According to a study done by pornhub, it’s perfectly normal, but only if you’re a step dad, a friend told me.

Not delayed, but fedex and ups beat the shite out of the packages. Had to return a couple broken items.

No. But almost everything I ordered had a clause something like this: “Due to Coronavirus, expect possible shipping delays”. But so far everything has gone good. They like to lean on that as an excuse in case you don’t get it on time. It’s really perfect for them.

Bed sheets from JC Pennys (yes, I’m OT poor) have been stuck at UPS in Port Allen since Nov 30th.

Everything has been delayed. Some items took close to a month to arrive but a lot of the delay is in getting the items shipped.
I ordered something with free shipping and it was sent priority mail and took 6 days transit.

Ordered everything early and everything is wrapped under the tree.

If from Amazon or Walmart, I’ve gotten them. Delayed at most a day. I ordered a Mr. Bingle for my toddler and we eventually got it two weeks after ordering as it never showed up the distribution site.
