so what guarantee do you have in a free market that the companies won't just pay everyone just enough to survive?

If you dislike wealth as you appear, this would be no problem.

Let me rephrase it for you Roger, Money is the last thing that lets us differentiate ourselves and make us feel like we are individually more important than someone with less. Look back at the comments. Based on popular opinion, unless you are wealthy and successful, you are lazy and make bad decisions. We have a problem as a species, we have a need to be important.

Imagine being a 20 year old creative writing student who thinks social hierarchies will cease in a money-free world.

Have you ran the test?

You’ve already got government enforced minimum wage. Why is that not good enough for you?

Well, that isn't even remotely true.

Our system is by no means perfect but it's superior to all the other ones out there.

About the only "fix" would be to remove the influence of money in politics. That would simplify our tax and financial system, which would drive more growth, and that growth would be more widespread.

This is incorrect and is lower level thinking. Many people choose a simple life and are very content.

People need to create, they don't need to be important.

How so? Look back a few pages lol. I can go get quotes if you are that lazy. If we only wanted to create, we wouldn't feel the need to create something better to show off would we? Creating stuff makes us rich and important.....Who creates and gives away innovation?

All of the questions you are asking have been addressed in economic theory over the last couple of hundred years. If you really want answers pick up a book.

I have a feeling you have no interest in actually learning though. You think you already know the answers.

Since a tax is simply plunder by the state, taken by force, there can never be a fair tax. All tax is theft. And a societal system supported by theft will always fail due to that inherent weakness.

It only penalizes you if you money if everything and the common goal among us. It doesn't have to be this way. Is wealth even needed?

Some people work less and make less, some people work more and make more. Some people find happiness in money and generating wealth some find it else where. Goals are different and people with high ambition and talent shouldn't suffer for others "common goal." It seems as if you are advocating for some kind of socialist system which sucks for all.

Says who?

Your premise is built on a foundation of faulty assumptions.

You need money to survive. Half of our market is people making money by lending you money in various ways. Why should we have to finance our lives?

Jesus Christ. If this is your belief

This is an exercise in futility. You're so far off base with this and utterly refuse very simple economic explanations.

You need an economics Course in the worst way, it will answer most of your questions. Without that basic knowledge everyone here is wasting time trying to explain it to you

Nope. You’re just too lazy to seek and think. Like most pseudo-intellectuals.

No you don't. You could barter your time for food or shelter or whatever you wanted. A currency is just a way to ease the transactions.
