My little dog has this. She destroys shite if we leave the house. We put her in the crate and she’s fine.

I’ve heard of crate training but that could be hard and the dog could have even worse anxiety being in there. CBD helps a lot.

Our dog was the same way. We fostered dogs until our dog found one be really liked being around and neither were aggressive now he doesn’t feel anxious at all. Get your dog a dog. They entertain each other and sleep together. It’s been the best decision

This.

It'll have company during the day. Makes a big difference.

Doggy prozac. Works great for my dog. About $40 for 90 days of pills I believe.

So you threw him away? What shitty person you are.

Don't ever get another pet.

I had a boxer

I also had a Boxer.. Man was he a hand full. I took him to training classes and spent time working with him.. He was just an out of control hardheaded dog.. Destroyed tons of stuff. Would freak out in the crate and had separation anxiety real bad. He made it to 13, which is pretty old for a Boxer. Anytime someone talks about getting a Boxer.. I give them a talking to..

Wow
I crate trained my Boxer & once she was older I started leaving the door open

She really wouldn’t come out, when she did she was scared she was doing something wrong
She had never tore anything up until my mom left crate door all the way open, left & decided to try to watch what she did through the blinds
Apparently boxer knew she was still there & after she left tore up the blinds
I just started closing crate again, it was her safe space

After flood she was used to not being crated since we were at my parents for awhile & they are retired
Now I leave the tv on & she does fine unless there’s a storm
She did much better being left when I had a foster, having another dog really does help

Watch Beckman Dog Training on You Tube_Joel Beckman once trained wild animals and worked at Sea World-uses his own Dobermans to discipline other dogs. I'm sure he has a video about separation anxiety.

I have my kids take the dogs for a run, while they used a skateboard/scooter/bike. Helps to get out excessive energy. They rest well after that. Extra plus, never have chewed up furniture.
