Just put a payment down on our second pup. Feel bad for leaving my bud at home all day while we work and wanted to get him a friend. Plus our house is big enough that 2 ten pound dachshunds won’t hardly take up space and they have plenty of room to move.

Have a terrible feeling right now but know we just have to get through the first few months and things will be straight.

Anyone have regrets from getting a second?

Yup. And they’re barking.

We have a cat and 2 little dogs at the moment. No real problems. My lab died a year or 2 ago and I miss him dearly. He was my boy away from these damn women. I need to get another one.

Jesus man it’s a fricking dog not a second wife. You can just drop that bitch off in Walker. Not like you gotta bury her behind the levy like a wife.

Great Dane and Australian shepherd.

Looking to get a golden retriever in the near future.

Two dogs is a good number. Keep each other company when you’re not around.

Nope, 2 dogs is perfect. We had a 3rd for a few years and it was a lot tougher to manage. I'd still do it all over again if I could have my boy back though. He was the most perfect SOB for a dog a man could want.

I have two. I probably won’t own two at the same time ever again.

Two border collies. They are closely bonded despite being from different litters and a year apart in age

If you can't afford to pay for a dog outright you shouldn't be buying it.

The payment is to hold the dog until he is ready to go home. It’s six weeks old. Otherwise I could cancel in 2 weeks, and the owners would be stuck with the puppy

I did too, had to invest in a quality timer and always feared fires with MH/HPS bulbs

I have no dogs. However, my wife has a chihuahua/Maltese, my daughter has a poodle/Pekingese, and my son has a Heinz 57 that I’m pretty sure has at least one extra chromosome. All are rescues and all for some reason think they have to lay in or around my lap which is where they are now. But as for me personally, I don’t have a dog.
